Nejat DOGAN received his B.A. degree in International Relations from Ankara University. He holds an M.A. degree in International Politics from the American University/Washington D.C. and a Ph.D. in Foreign Affairs from the University of Virginia. His doctoral dissertation, entitled “Inis L. Claude and World Order,” proposed a pragmatic- liberal approach to International Relations. Between 2001 and 2011 he taught at Erciyes University. Dr. Dogan currently works as a full professor at Anadolu University (Turkey) and chairs the Department of International Relations. He is a vising scholar for the 2014-2015 academic year at Portland State University for conducting research on 21st century Turkish foreign policy.

Kubilay ARIN received his doctorate from the University of Munich in 2012 and was a visiting scholar at the Middle East Technical University in Ankara in 2014. His research focuses on think tanks in the US and Turkey, EU-Turkey Politics, US-Turkish relations, US and European foreign policy towards the Middle East, the democratization in Turkey and the Kurdish question. He has a forthcoming book that examines Think Tanks, Game-Changers in Turkish Foreign Policy. This book will address Turkey's (strained) relations with the US, the EU, NATO, the UN and the Near East.
